JOB DESCRIPTION
TILEX LIMITED is currently seeking four skilled and experienced Carpenters to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of carpentry works on residential and commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cutting, shaping, and fitting timber and other materials.
Installing structures such as doors, windows, staircases, flooring, and formwork.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Repairing and maintaining existing wooden structures.
Using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant carpentry experience (Essential).
Qualification: No formal qualification required OR Carpentry trade qualification/apprenticeship.
Skills: Ability to read technical drawings, manual dexterity, and a strong work ethic.
Competencies: Creativity, initiative, manufacturing knowledge, and excellent time management.
